My papal persona

I recently changed personas. Every time I surf the Internet using my Firefox browser, I now have the papal flag hanging over me (as well as the creed in Latin across the bottom of my browser). According to Firefox’s Personas page, I’m one of eight people worldwide decorating my browser window in this fashion.

Blessed Mary MacKillop

Catholic News Service posted a short article yesterday announcing that the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart launched a new Web site reportedly revealing never-before-seen images of their co-founder, Blessed Mary MacKillop among other things.

World Youth Day — One year later

It has been one year since some 223,000 registered pilgrims from 170 countries converged on Sydney, Australia for World Youth Day 2008.
The World Youth Day anniversary Mass will be streamed live at 6:30 p.m. July 20 from St. Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney (where the World Youth Day countdown clock rung in the start of festivities). [...]
