Our weekend calendar is back, and for this holiday weekend, is a four-day special. Faith enrichment, music with a purpose, special Masses and more.

Jan. 13-16

Our God Spot — 7-10 p.m. Jan. 13 at Starbucks Arizona Center, Third Street and Van Buren. Young adult gathering. Topic: Is Mary the Mother of God? Details.

Mass in the Grass — 9 a.m. Jan. 14 at Pecos Park (southwest end). Bring blanket or lawn chair. Coordinated by St. Benedict Parish. Map.

Kino Library sale — 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Jan. 13-14 at Diocesan Pastoral Center, 400 E. Monroe St. Catholic books by the bag are $3-$5. Details.

Paz de Cristo Blues Benefit — 7-10 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Rhythm Room, 1019 E. Indian School Road. $10 cover goes directly to Paz de Cristo in Mesa, which serves dinner nightly to homeless and low-income guests plus offers food boxes and other assistance. Details.

Casa Art Walk — 1-5 p.m. Jan. 14 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 15 at The Casa (Franciscan Renewal Center) in Scottsdale. Features multi-cultural art and musicians plus refreshments after each Mass. Details.

MLK Mass — 2 p.m. Jan. 16 at St. Mary’s Basilica in downtown Phoenix. Re-live the March on Washington when Darren Handy, a Mesa Catholic, recites Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. Mass begins at 3 p.m. followed by a reception. Details.

Matachines Mass/celebration — 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Jan. 14 at St. Mary in Chandler. Diocesan gathering of local matachines groups that dance in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Dancing, drama in honor the the holy cross, food. Bishop Eduardo A. Nevares will celebrate Mass at 6 p.m. Details in bulletin.

Celebration of the Santo Niño — 5 p.m. Jan. 15 at Our Lady of the Valley with Bishop Eduardo A. Nevares.

Right of Continuous Conversion — 3:30-6:30 p.m. Jan. 15 at Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral
