Here are a few groups of people to keep in prayer for their weekend events:

• 

  Sept. 3-5

  Athletes from Catholic schools competing in an array of fall sports including football, cross country, volleyball, swimming/diving and golf.

• Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted who is celebrating a Mass for local sisters from the Missionaries of Charity in honor of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta. See CNS’ article, “Impact of Mother Teresa’s work, prayer…” marking what would have been the little nun’s 100th birthday.
• Couples at Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Lake Havasu City. Priests will bestow a special anniversary blessing for couples celebrating marriage milestones this month during all weekend Masses Sept. 4-5.
