Make something out of your trash

Posted by : ambria

As someone who tries to fill the recycling bin far more often than the trash can, it’s refreshing to find an opportunity to make something profitable out of the trash. That’s what students at Annunciation Catholic School in Cave Creek hope to do.

Support the Trash Bag Sale which benefits Annunciation Catholic School and keeps the vision-impaired employed.

They’re holding the great Trash Bag Sale through Sept. 21. A third grade parent remembered his alma mater had been successful with a similar fundraiser and brought the idea to Annunciation.

The students are selling the bags, manufactured by Envision (which staffs visually impaired employees), and the school gets the money. Regular rolls are $15 and $20 for biodegradable rolls. No word on how  many bags come on each roll.

Payment is due upon delivery.

For more information or to place an order, contact the school (480) 361-8234 or office@acsphx.info.
