Knights of Columbus members throughout Arizona and their families are invited to a group outing at Chase Field when the Diamondbacks take on the Colorado Rockies Aug. 21.

Join your favorite council for a night with the D-Backs Aug. 21.

First pitch is at 5:10 p.m. It looks like seating and pricing varies depending on which council you buy  tickets through.

Choose your council wisely as there are incentive prizes for councils that sell the most tickets and raises the most money. There are incentives for ticketholders as well. If you buy through your local Knights of Columbus council, the Diamondbacks will donate the following:

• $2 to the local council
• $1 to the Arizona Knights of Columbus
• $2 to the Special Olympics (an event the Knights support financially and at the event)

It’s a win for many local groups, despite the final numbers on the scoreboard.

Watch parish bulletins for info on ordering through your local council. Deadline to order tickets through the council at St. Louis the King Parish in Glendale (which tipped me off to the event) is Aug. 5.
