Catholic yoga debate resurfaces

A good year and a half ago, Catholic Sun readers parked themselves on both sides of the fence after publishing Can yoga and Catholicism mix?
It appears as though the debate as to whether the Catholic faith and an exercise of Indian origin can peaceably meet recently stirred up on the east coast.
Catholic News Service published a Arlington Catholic Herald article yesterday reporting on the same topic.
As is the case for Yahweh Yoga in Chandler, Donna Kocian’s Catholic yoga-like classes in the Diocese of Arlington blend Scripture and encouraging music with stretching.
