Young adult retreat set for Memorial Day weekend

Catholic schools advance in state softball playoffs

It was a bittersweet victory for Catholic school sports fans last night. The varsity softball team at Xavier College Preparatory lost to Tucson’s Salpointe Catholic yesterday, so St. Mary’s High School plays Salpointe  at 5 p.m. tonight at Rose Mosford Softball Complex, 9833 N. 25th Ave. in Phoenix.
