Food Fast
Many Catholics finished their fast yesterday since it was Good Friday.
It's April 2-3.
The Youth Ministry at St. Bridget Parish in Mesa are starting theirs. They’re joining in a 24-hour fast today in solidarity with youth around the world. It’s sponsored by Catholic Relief Services.
I did a zip code search on the Food Fast’s Web site and it appears that they’re the only diocesan group within 200 miles of the DPC’s zip code participating. A group in Casa Grande and another in Tucson are also fasting.
Any donations (93 percent) the youth receives helps CRS missions around the world.
