Missing Good Friday services in Phoenix?

Posted by : ambria

Can't make it to Mass? Tune in to AZTV or online.

If you live in the Phoenix area and have a work/travel schedule that doesn’t allow you to be in the pew on Good Friday, not to worry. KAZT (AZ-TV 7/Cox 13) will carry the Good Friday service from Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral live. The station is the exclusive home for regular Sunday liturgies and certain holy days.

This is the first time that AZ-TV has allowed Skyline Productions, which produces the TV Mass, to air the service. It will be broadcast live tomorrow beginning at 3 p.m.

As a new feature, Immaculate Heart Radio will also carry the Good Friday service live and begin streaming the regular Sunday liturgy beginning on Easter. Tune in to AM 1310.

By the way, local Catholics can also be a part of Good Friday services and other Holy Week festivities from Boston, Notre Dame and the Vatican courtesy of CatholicTV. The station has a full schedule of bringing Holy Week liturgies to the Masses.
