In case you missed the inaugural Nun Run this weekend, the Poor Clare Sisters sent me — and I would imagine a lot of their other supporters — a video recap.

Nearly 500 people ran the 5k according to the race results. Another 195 continued on to finish the 10k.

Women as young as 5 (not counting the “0-year-old” who I’m guessing was in a stroller) and as old as 81 ran the benefit race. Men as young as 4 (again, not counting another registered “0-year-old”) and as old as 75 ran the race.

Race proceeds will help the sisters finish their monastery under construction in Tonopah. Check out the latest rendering of the chapel which should be done in the next six months.
