Pizza Bistro helps St. Matthew School
Oregano’s Pizza Bistro is ready to help a cash-strapped Catholic school and feed your family at the same time. St. Matthew School, a k-8 Catholic campus just outside of downtown Phoenix, will get 15% of your purchase today — lunch dinner or take-out. Check out the menu.
St. Matthew School is always in need of financial support from uniforms to school supplies to tuition assistance. Students at Blessed Pope John XXIII School in Scottsdale collected school supplies during Catholic Schools Week earlier this month to give to St. Matthew.
Here’s what principal Gena McGowan had to say about needs at the school in a recent Charity and Development article:
Most of the 185 students’ parents are working two minimum-wage jobs just to keep a roof over the family’s heads. Some of them do yard work or cleaning in the evenings, too.
“A school like St. Matthew’s gives children who otherwise wouldn’t have a chance at the American dream, the opportunity to succeed,” McGowan said.
You can help St. Matthew School by visiting the Oregano’s at 1008 E. Camelback Road today. Be sure to present this flyer and 15 percent of your bill will go to the school. You can even place your order ahead of time and it will be ready for you to take home when you arrive.
