Former St. Mary’s development director launches consulting firm for non-profits

Bridget Costello, president and founder of Emerald Consulting, is offering a free seminar for non-profit corporations Nov. 5  at the Wyndham Phoenix Hotel.

Development teams, directors, administrators and fundraisers will learn about the five most common pitfalls that non-profits and schools make and learn of strategies to overcome them.

“The premise and vision of taking my life experiences and sharing them with organizations so they may maximize their potential in the community, realize their dreams and create sustainability for their future is my goal,” Costello said.

Costello spent eight years as the development director for Saint Mary’s High School, where she raised funds for the school’s operating budget, scholarship assistance, tax credit programs, capital improvements and extra curricular activities each year for the community.

“I have a passion for helping people with their education, elevating youth and raising funds for terrific causes that can make a difference in the world we live in,” Costello said.
