Show time for high school fall plays
A couple of Catholic high schools sent us press releases about their upcoming fall plays. They’re listed in our Sunbeams section of our Oct. 15 issue.

High school theatre students are enacting fall plays now through November.
To be fair, I thought I’d list them all here as well:
- The Music Man — A salesman hoodwinks and charms a small Iowa town in 1912. Presented by Brophy and Xavier College preparatories Oct. 14-15 and Oct. 17 includes a matinee Oct. 17. Tickets $7.
- Professor, How Could You? — A professor has been offered a deanship with one pre-requisite: marriage. That leads nearly everyone he knows to try to find him a suitable match. Presented by Notre Dame Players Oct. 16-17 at 7 p.m. $5 adults, $3 students.
- A Midsummer Night’s Dream — A Shakespearean comedy about two couples in love with the wrong partners. Oct. 16-18 and Oct. 23-24 includes one matinee and one dinner theatre. $5 adults and $4 students. Seton Catholic Preparatory High School in Chandler. (480) 963-1900 or mfrable@setonchs.org.
Two schools are showing their fall plays in November.
- 12 Angry Jurors (page 9) — Nov. 5-8 including one matinee. Presented by Bourgade Catholic High School. (602) 973-4000 ext. 109. Tickets $5-$7.
- Home on the Mornin’ Train — Jewish children are sent into hiding in rural Germany. While there, they learn about slavery in the United States. Presented by St. Mary’s High School. Ticket prices not available.
