Eighth-graders advertise pro-life message
MESA — Eighth graders at Christ the King School have joined the annual 40 Days for Life fall prayer campaign which runs through Nov. 1. The prayer campaign reaches its halfway point today.

Christ the King eighth-graders are praying for 40 days that pregnant women choose life for their babies. (submitted photo)
The students are praying for an end to abortion and educating the public about the issue. Christ the King students placed 150 blue and pink flags in the parish lawn to represent the average number of children lost to abortion in the U.S. every hour.
The pink flags say “abortion kills” next to an image of an infant face.
The blue flags bear a cross and say “Jesus forgives” in an effort to reach out to post-abortive women.
One Comment so far ...
I got a message from the 40 Days for Life group on xt3.com this morning reporting that 219 babies have been saved from abortion due to prayers, fasting, witness and vigil. It also reported that workers in abortion facilities are leaving their jobs and some facilities have not had a need to open on certain days.
