Like J.D. mentioned in the Oct. 1 issue preview, there’s an in-depth piece on health care reform and why the Church is vital to the debate. It’s a rather thorough read, so be sure to check it out.

Feel free to also check out “Horizon,” KAET’s regular in-depth public affairs forum. The show looks at issues of concern to Arizonans.
Tonight’s episode, which airs at 7 p.m. on Channel 8, will report the results of the latest Cronkite-Eight Poll. This month’s poll sought to find out what Arizonans think about President Barack Obama and health care reform among other items.
While there wasn’t a Catholic angle to the poll, it might be good to hear how Arizonans feel about health care and compare that to the Catholic perspective in J.D.’s article.
You can also compare the poll results to his online exclusive story which highlighted how local demonstrators supported and protested Obama’s health care plan when he was in town last month. Or, if you’d rather, watch the video.
