Keep tabs on the annual youth conference whether you'll be there or not.

Some of you may have been hearing in bulletins or parish announcements about Steubenville West (or Steubie West, as the teens call it).

The annual conference hosted by Lifeteen at the University of Arizona in Tucson is this weekend. It draws thousands of high school teenagers from throughout the western region.

Youth from several parishes in the Phoenix Diocese are there. Local Catholics such as those who participated in Most Holy Trinity’s “Keep the Change” fundraiser, helped send our teens.

Consider praying for them as they rock out to Catholic music, hear inspirational talks and grow closer to Christ who is “Above all” (this year’s theme).

You can also follow the conference through Twitter. The Matt Maher Band, Righteous B — who once appeared at Phoenix’s Southwest Youthfest — Lifeteen staff and the teens themselves will be posting twitpics and other updates.
