Race for Maggie’s Place

Early registration for the 9k race and 3k walk ends July 14.
The last thing you probably want to do right now is be outside, but come November you might have a change of heart. Not only should temperatures be lower, but squeezing in a morning run or walk at Tempe Beach Park would do your body and somebody else a lot of good.
July 14 is the early registration deadline for the Race for Maggie’s Place to be held Nov. 8. Sign up for a 9k race (5.6 miles), a 3k walk/stroller push or a .9 mile sprint. Young athletes can participate in the free Kid’s Dash.
Fees go up again Sept. 15, Nov. 7 and on race day.
Last year’s inaugural race raised thousands of dollars.
