Another Notre Dame school coming to town
Students from the oldest English-speaking Catholic high school in North America will visit one of the youngest April 1-3. And they’re likely to feel right at home.
That’s because the students, along with their principal and a married couple who both teach at Regiopolis Notre Dame High School in Kingston, Ontario, will spend time in the classrooms of an American school with essentially the same name. The students will attend Notre Dame Preparatory in Scottsdale and stay with the school’s host families.
The visit is part of an outreach among the Scottsdale Sister Cities Association, its student chapter at Notre Dame and Regiopolis Notre Dame in Canada. Last year, the two schools exchanged “cultural boxes” to learn more about each other.
Notre Dame’s Diversity Club wants to create a cultural exchange with other high schools from Scottsdale’s Sister Cities.
