The cover to the 2008 Arizona Catholic Conference Voters' Guide.

The Arizona Catholic Conference and The Catholic Sun have released the 2008 Voters’ Guide — an important educational tool providing unbiased information on the upcoming elections.

In June, candidates running for office (U.S. House of Representatives, the Corporation Commission, and the Arizona State Senate and House of Representatives) were presented with a series of 13 statements and asked to identify whether or not they supported or opposed them. Some, unfortunately, chose not to answer the survey.

And to answer the inevitable question: This document does not endorse candidates or indicate our support or opposition to the 13 statements. It is, however, an excellent source of information on the candidates’ positions on current issues.
