No More Deaths: ‘Our system is broken’
U.S. Magistrate Judge Bernardo P. Velasco issued his ruling against Daniel Millis Sept. 21. He’d been weighing a decision since a trial July 25.
“The verdict is in,” said Laura Ilardo of No More Deaths in an e-mail, “and is more evidence that our system is broken.”
