Sneak peak: The Sept. 4 ‘Sun’
Filed under : From the Staff
We’re putting the finishing touches on the next edition of the Sun, but we thought we’d share some headlines from the Sept. 4 issue:
- Faith on Campus: For college students, Newman Center provides a faith home away from home
- ‘MAKE IT HAPPEN’: Young gymnast sets eyes on Olympic glory
- Bishops say Pelosi misrepresented abortion teaching in TV interview
- ‘Free Omelet Day’ to benefit St. Vincent de Paul
- Bishop Olmsted: Pray for the living and the dead, Eighth and final part in a series on the Spiritual Works of Mercy
- Parish mission to combat bad influences
- Catholic theater brings ‘the Little Flower’ to Valley
- Book Review: Lessons of the ‘Mother to the Poor’
- Film Review: ‘Traitor’ underscores need for ‘moral rulebook’
- Plus a couple other important stories that we’ll have to wait till next week to share.
And don’t miss the new look to the print edition of the Sunbeams, our event calendar page. We spruced up the look a bit to make it easier on the eyes and hopefully more effective.
That’s it for now. Thanks for reading The Catholic Sun.
