Seton Catholic cheer squad wins top honors at camp
FLAGSTAFF — Seton Catholic High School Spirit Line received a superior rating over all at the Universal Cheerleaders Association Camp Aug. 8-10.
The squad, who competed against 13 other Arizona teams, also won first place in “Extreme Cheer” and “Home Pom Routine.” The association also named five Seton girls to the All Star team.
Nicole Franco, Ali McAlister, and Erika Schwartz for varsity and Alexis Kelly and Lorena Magallanes for junior varsity will get a chance to perform at the Capital One Bowl game in Florida and the Pro Bowl Tour Football game in Hawaii. Lauren Harrigan was also named “Dance Diva” of the camp.
