New edition sneak peek
Here’s a look at the front page of next week’s Catholic Sun.
We’ve got a number of World Youth Day stories from Ambria highlighting the momentous event along with a center-spread of photos from Down Under.
I wrote a story on how seminarians spend their summers working at local parishes and how that fits in with their priestly training and education.
Joyce trekked up to the Flagstaff area for a few stories: a groundbreaking/blessing for the road leading to the future San Francisco de Asis campus, a Your Catholic Neighbor installment and a brief report from the summer camp run by the Knights of Columbus.
There’s a CDA wrap-up story, which includes a chart showing where the funds have been allocated, a book review on a St. Joan of Arc biography and a Becca movie review on the new Kevin Costner election comedy, “Swing Vote.”
There’s also a pretty lively letters page, many of which center on Immigration. If I’m permitted to say so, I really like this issue. Hope you will, too.
